did you sign up for the starwood credit card? u can use the points u get from that on a luxxxxxury nite in japan : D

fyi .. https://www.applyonlinenow.com/canada/aazibeqpyou need to use the card at least once to get some points, and then once u stay at a starwood hotel for the first time, use it again for something else and you get yet more points : )have fun!
